CA Prop 65 | What We’re Doing About It

The state of California maintains the most stringent U.S. laws regarding lead content in adult jewelry. On June 1, 2020, California updated Proposition 65 and drastically reduced the lead content limits from 60,000 parts per million to 500 parts per million. The changes impact all jewelry sold in California. As a result, a small number of SOKO’s recycled brass products are no longer compliant in California.

Moving forward, we are sourcing brass from trusted vendors that meet the new lead content requirements.

Tarnished and Allergic to metal: week 1

I really wanted to love this company. And the jewelery. I ordered two “stackable” necklaces that were the same exact length when put on but were shown to be extremely different in the pictures. Originally had to return one necklace due to intense scratches. Received replacement quickly but the replacement is showing brass already under the silver. It’s only been a few days. I’m also breaking our bc of the necklace which shows me the metal is not real. I’m highly allergic to nickel. So basically returned 2 necklaces kept one I’m allergic to. I’m going to try and return it too. Not worth $88. Only reason for a few stars is customer service is polite.

Perfect

I love this piece and everything about it. The clasp has come undone a few times but I still think it’s fabulous. The quality is in-line with all things Soko. I would recommend to a friend.

Beautiful necklace

I love this necklace. I got one for me and my sister to wear as an everyday necklace. My one complaint is that because of the clasp being in the front, it comes undone very easily when moving around. My sisters fell off and we had to look for it in grass. I love this necklace so much it’s delicate and shiny and just enough of a statement, I just wish this part of the design was a little better. This was my first buy from shop soko and I’m planning on getting more jewelry as gifts for the women in my life
